You may be aware of our fractional ownership scheme for 6 metre RIBs. This includes quarter ownership, training, insurance, mooring/launching and all running costs except fuel. We have been told by RibShack Marine that there are two shares left for 2010 and the price is now, incredibly, just £5,495 plus VAT (and that’s VAT at 2010 rates). You can take out contracts for 2 years 9 months starting now, or 2 years 6 months in March of next year depending on what suits you.
It doesn’t need us to tell you it should be possible on this rate, depending on the final trade-in value of the boat, to be spending only £1,000 a year for access to a state-of-theart machine and training. Management fees aside, this is remarkable. All salesmen will tell you they have an unrepeatable deal – we really don’t think you’ll ever see this one again!
